Message regarding coronavirus (COVID-19):

Hello all,

As everyone is aware, this pandemic is a constantly evolving situation. As time progresses there are some definite guidelines being established. To date it seems OK to keep all our daily farm activities, including our “Volunteer Days” continuing as usual.

Like all other businesses, we want you to know that we know everyone has concerns. So: if there is anyone who wishes to go on hold, at any time, we will work with you. In addition, if you experience financial hardship we will work with you to help keep you or your child riding. We feel it is important to maintain some normalcy in these abnormal times. Just let us know what we can do.

Second, if you continue to ride and the farm itself has to go on hold you will have the choice of a refund or participation in one of our “special activity days” (to be decided after the current situation is resolved).

Third, as of now it seems highly unlikely we will be able to do our April activities (the show and the starter trials). However, again trying to maintain some normalcy, we will make a decision based on whatever guidelines are in place the Wednesday before each activity. As is our usual policy, if you enter, and for any reason cannot do the activity, your entry will be refunded.

If there are any changes, we will inform everyone both through email and the Facebook page. As always, our top priority is providing a safe and educational riding environment. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

A Moment In Time (AMIT) is a 65-acre equestrian farm in Southern Maryland offering boarding, training, and lessons. AMIT has a large, active community of horses and riders: approximately 45 school horses, 20 boarders, a dozen instructors, and 140 clients.

We strive to make horseback riding safe and enjoyable--don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments!
